Yes, the wedding ceremony and reception are at the same location.

Our wedding ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors, with the reception being under a tent and the ceremony being under the sun and next to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean! In the event that the April beach weather does not cooperate with these plans, the wedding ceremony and reception will be moved to the ballroom onsite.

In keeping with Eastern NC traditions, our reception dinner will be buffet style and consist of pulled pork BBQ, hushpuppies, mac & cheese, and green beans. If you have any questions, concerns, or dietary restrictions, please reach out to us via the contact information listed above.

There will be a capped consumption bar consisting of complimentary beer and wine for our guests. There will also be liquor and liquor drinks available for purchase via cash or card. All alcohol sales and service will be provided by and managed by Islander Hotel & Resort staff.

The official wedding attire is listed as "beach wedding casual." Example would be fun spring colors! Our main goal is for all of our guests to be comfortable. The weather in April at the beach can be variable and so please plan accordingly given the fact that the wedding ceremony and reception will be outdoors.

The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM and so we encourage guests to arrive by 5:00 PM.
